Questions and answers

Short, plain answers about the public beta.

Using AIVE One

Which languages work?

Hindi, English and Hinglish. You can pick a language or let AIVE One detect it. Hindi and Hinglish transcripts are a rough draft to edit; we do not claim they are accurate.

Can I correct the transcript?

Yes. Double-click a word to change its text. Captions and the export use your text. Empty the box to restore the original word.

What happens to my cuts and captions if I change my mind?

Cuts are a list: you can restore any cut and undo your last actions. Your original file is never changed.

Which files can I upload?

mp4, mov, m4v, mkv, webm, mp3, wav, m4a and aac.

What do I get at the end?

An MP4 with your captions burned in, and text you can use on YouTube: proposed titles, a description, chapters and thumbnail frames. You upload to YouTube yourself.

Limits and your data

Is it free?

Yes, during the beta. Paid plans open after the beta; see pricing. No payment is asked for today.

How much can I use?

25 creator accounts at launch and 30 media minutes for each creator each month. If the places are taken, join the waitlist.

How long do you keep my files?

Uploads, transcripts and exports are deleted automatically after 7 days. See your data.

Can I delete everything now?

Yes. In the editor choose "Delete my account and data", type DELETE to confirm, and your account and everything you uploaded are removed immediately. This cannot be undone.

Is my footage used to train AI or sent to other companies?

AIVE One runs its own models for transcription. Your footage is not sent to outside AI vendors.

Not available yet

Can AIVE One publish to my YouTube channel?

Not in the beta. You download a publish kit and upload yourself.

Is there a phone or desktop app?

Not yet. AIVE One runs in your browser on a computer.

Can I pay for more?

Not yet. Paid plans open after the beta.
